Burkina Faso - An Emerging World-Class Gold Province

Burkina Faso is the third largest gold producer in West Africa, with 14 new gold mines built in the past 14 years.

Golden Rim Resources has two projects in Burkina Faso for a total landholding of 477km2. The two projects are at different stages of exploration and development.

KOURI

  • Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 50 million tonnes at 1.3g/t gold (at a cut-off grade of 0.5g/t gold) for 2.0 million ounces of contained gold
  • Approximately 14% of the Mineral Resource is Indicated (310,000oz at 1.4g/t gold)
  • ∼95% of Mineral Resource ounces are in the Central Lodes
  • Mineral Resource is comprised of multiple parallel gold lodes (ranging in thickness from 2 to 10m)
  • Mineral resource remains open along strike and at depth
  • Gold occurs as free gold in fractures or associated with quartz-pyrite veining
  • Preliminary metallurgical test work positive - >95.5% recovery with standard gravity + cyanidation
  • Exploration upside - high-grade gold regional targets
  • East Lodes (located 7km NE of the Central Lodes) have an Inferred Mineral Resource of 48,000oz at 3.2g/t gold.

BABONGA

  • Major gold in soil anomaly
  • Air core drilling program in January 2017 defined bedrock gold mineralisation over an area of 1km x 200m
  • Peak values include: 7m at 1.6g/t gold; 2m at 3.1g/t gold; 6m at 1.1g/t gold; and 2m at 3.0g/t gold
